Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Regular issues of "Research in Economics and Business: Central and Eastern Europe" (REB) are open to submissions from all authors from all countries provided that the submitted paper deals with a topic related to economic issues in the CEE region. REB focuses primarily on empirical studies. Comparative cross-country and regional studies are particularly welcome as well as papers that incorporate policy implications. Along with papers by established scientists, we encourage submissions from early-career researchers.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• If you are interested in submitting a paper, please register for the journal and create a submission by submitting a .doc or .docx file (no .pdf, please).
• All the submissions should be in the English language.
• Please ensure that the title of the submitted paper is both clear and explanatory.
• Full name, affiliation and contact information should be mentioned for all authors of the paper (please refer to the example below).
• Please include an abstract of not more than 150 words to summarise the background and results of the research.
• Please provide approximately 5 keywords and JEL classification number(s) that best characterise your paper.
• Preferable length of papers is 15 – 20 pages.
• The author(s) should make sure that complete bibliographic information is provided for all cited references and that there are no such items in the list of bibliography that have not been referred to in the paper.
• Please provide English language translations for all titles in the list of references the original language of which is not English.
• Please note that language editing and formatting of the paper is the responsibility of the author(s).
• Please make sure that all tables, figures and formulas are included in the text (or sent separately) in an editable version.
• Paper formatting instructions are provided below. As regards the overall style of the paper, we recommend authors to follow the APA Style (please refer to http://apastyle.apa.org and http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01).
